My First Donair

I had my first donair today.  What motivated me to get one was that I’ve been binge eating a lot of shawarmas as of late and was fixing to get another.  The only problem was that I was far away from my local spot, so I went online and googled local places.  That’s when I decided that I should instead try a donair.  I’ve wanted to try one for a long time.  In case you didn’t know the donair was invented in Nova Scotia, and it’s basically a gyro (rotisserie meat, on a pita served with onions and tomato) with sweet sauce instead of tzatziki.  Looking at positive reviews online, I decided to go with the Fuzz Box, who makes authentic donairs.  Based on my first impressions, it’s pretty damn good.  The sweetness mixed with meat and moist pita just seems to create a new delicious taste that I really liked.  I’m glad my first donair went well because I usually don’t like new foods until the second/third time.  Now I can’t wait to try it again.
