Here’s a watch I’m sure would have been highly
sought after if it would have been nicknamed the Xbox G-Shock. I say this because the colorway reminds me of
the colors used on the original Xbox released in 2001. That console, just like this watch comes in a
black colorway with green and white highlights.
Officially this watch is a Casio G-Shock model DW-6900CS-1CU.
While the colorway and the model type is nice,
my one complaint about this watch is that it’s a negative display. I hate negative displays because in direct
sunlight they’re difficult to read. Of
course all of this goes away in the dark when you shine that lume and it gives
you a clear reading. However this isn’t enough
for me to recommend this model and I hope that the popularity of negative
display watches goes away because I’m left with having to pass on nice colorway
watches simply because they’re negative displays.
