Well, I’m glad to say
that I finally have a José Bautista bobblehead in my collection. This is the 2013 limited edition bobblehead
that only season and flex pack ticket holders could get. I was planning on getting flex pack tickets
that year (which in my opinion is the best way to purchase tickets), but I just
wasn’t sure if I would be able to attend enough games. Unfortunately I was unable to get a
bobblehead, but thankfully a friend of mine gave me a spare she had.
The bobblehead was
made by BDA Inc. and was manufactured in China in 2012. It comes packaged in a limited edition box
with pictures of Bautista on every side.
Bautista is displayed in a blue jersey with white pants, standing tall
with his bat in his left hand. One thing
I cannot stop praising BDA Inc. about is their inclusion of branded logos on
their figures. In this case Bautista’s
bat carries the Marucci logo, which is the bat brand he uses.
Although my figure does
have some paint spill over (around the eyes), the paint job is still nice and
clean. I also plan to fix it with a
little paint, so it’s no big deal. I
could pretty much receive a José Bautista bobblehead in any condition and be
thankful (lol). While I might never get the
2011 Home Run King Blue Jays bobblehead, this version finally allows me to have
a Bautista bobblehead in my collection and that makes me happy.
